The room had this really charming fireplace that made the cold nights much more bearable and we even got a duralog every day for it. Plus, the sunroom was perfect for grabbing a cup of coffee in the morning and just relaxing-it felt like home.

While the hotel cleanliness was generally good, one of the makeup towels had hair on it, which was a bit off-putting. The squeaky bathroom door was also distracting, and not having staff around meant handling requests, like housekeeping, required prior notice. The lack of air conditioning made the room warmer than ideal during the stay, and the mini ice machine was broken, necessitating daily trips for ice. Lastly, the pervasive lavender scent in the hallways felt overly strong and not pleasant for some.
